Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day was held on May 3, 2024 at Our Lady’s Academy.  Over 300 guests shared the day with our students.  This special day began with Mass.  Our guests were then treated to light refreshments sponsored by the PTO.  Special thanks to the  PTO Committee who prepared the food for our guests: Kelly Fahnoe, Maureen Dwyer Dobrowski, Kristen Bano Jordan, Rebecca Hodges and Christine Curran.  Our guests were treated to the sounds from the Our Lady’s Academy experienced band led by Mr. Chris Nowselski.  Our eighth grade students from Mr. Gredjus’ Religion class helped Mr. Irwin set up the auditorium for the event.  We also had 42 students who did a fabulous job as Student Ambassadors throughout the day helping our guests in the hallways and at the reception and welcoming the guests at both the Church and school.  The final part of the day was the classroom visits with the students and teachers – which is everyone’s favorite part of the day.  Thanks to everyone who helped to make the day so special!
