Snow Day Policy

It’s that time of year again!  Just a reminder about how Snow Days are communicated and handled at Our Lady’s Academy:

If we have a snowstorm, there are times when school will be cancelled.  Please note the following:

• School cancellation can be found on WBZ in the A.M. or P.M. depending on the predictability and severity of the storm.
• If Waltham calls school off because of snow, Our Lady’s Academy will not have school.
• There may be times when Waltham calls off school for their early childhood students only.  This means that all other grades will have school in Waltham.   If this is the case, Our Lady’s Academy will still have school for our early childhood students and all other grades will also have school also. At Our Lady’s Academy, if there is school for one grade then all grades will have school.  It is either all or nothing at Our Lady’s Academy.
• There are times when Waltham will have a delay.  If that is the case, we will also have a delay for all grades.  You just have to remember that if there is a delay, then the busses will also     be delayed. For example, if there  s a one-hour delay, the busses will be delayed one hour in the A.M.  The delay should not affect the afternoon busses.
