Summer School

Several Our Lady’s Academy students and teachers just completed the first ever OLA Summer School during the month of July.  Current students entering Grades 1 through 6 were eligible to enroll in the subsidized program for one, two, three or all four weeks.  The program was staffed by current OLA teachers and everyone enjoyed extra help in reading and math, along with fun STEM activities, gym class, recess and even snack time!  Students especially liked seeing their friends and making new ones in the middle of the summer.  It was a big success, and all the students, teachers and parents involved were pleased with the results.  Who knows…maybe this will become an annual offering!
